Freshman Year Photoshop Reflection

"This year was not what I had expected it would be. Although COVID affected many things this past school year, I was still able to learn so many new things while taking this class. Even though this class was not what I had expected it would be, I ended up really enjoying it. Photoshop is one of those things that you need practice with. Comparing my work at the end of the year to my work from the beginning of the year really shows the progress that I have made. Before taking this class, I had never used photoshop. Although it was challenging to learn how to use, I have come pretty far. I am looking forward to continuing being part of the STEAM program for the upcoming years and I am excited to continue learning new things."

This essay is my Senior Year Research Paper. We were tasked to choose a topic that had to do something with dystopian societies. The research question that I landing on was:

"How do gender roles and reproductive rights manifest in dystopian societies, and what insights can be gained into the societal attitudes towards gender through these portrayals?"
